Fairways Of Halfmoon Golf Course
About Our Course
The 18-hole Fairways of Halfmoon Golf Course features four sets of tees, ranging from 4,578 to 6,324 yards, on its par-71 bent-grass layout. The course, which opened in 1999 and was designed by Gary Van Alstyne, only plays 5,922 yards from the middle tees, and stresses accuracy over distance.
As players make their way up the 18th fairway, they get a glimpse of the Fairways of Halfmoon’s Adirondack Room Banquet Facility, the Berkshire Room restaurant and bar, the Hank Hudson Brewery, as well as a driving range and putting green for players to enjoy. Whether its water hazards, bunkers, trees or fescue, the Fairways of Halfmoon offers a diverse layout for golfers of all abilities.
Booking Rules
(During the Season Approximately April – October)
Capital region cards valid Monday – Thursday, no holidays, must make tee-time by calling our Proshop 518-664-1578 ext. 1
On weekends we have 2 options for 9 Hole golf:
After 1 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. providing there is no tournament
To make a tee-time Monday – Thursday after 1pm (9 holes only) call our Proshop
Please keep in mind if a tournament is scheduled before your tee-time it may affect the pace of play.
Course Rules
Only registered players on the course.
Each player must have their own set of golf clubs
All golf and pull carts must keep a distance of 30 feet from the greens and trees
Coolers are prohibited
Proper golf attire required (no metal spikes) Collared shirt and no jeans
Eliminate honors – hit when ready
Keep pace with group in front of you, and let faster groups play through
Repair ball marks, replace divots and rake bunkers
Two players per cart
Hazards are defined by stakes or paint
Drivers must be licensed drivers for golf cart rentals
Please read operating instructions on motorized golf carts
Alcoholic beverages can not be brought onto Fairways of Halfmoon property
Tee Time Reservations

Reservations can be made 7 days a week
Reservations cannot be made more than 6 days in advance
All reservations on first come first serve basis
Tee times will be scheduled 9 minutes apart
All reserved tee times are required to check in with the cashier or starter at least 10 minutes prior to scheduled time.
All young golfers are encouraged to come play and learn at The Fairways of Halfmoon Golf Course, a place in which the staff is family friendly and passionate about junior golf!
Spring Season May 11 - July 5.
